The Supermicro AOC-STGN-i2S (v2.10) is a low-profile, dual-port 10GbE network adapter card built on the industry-standard Intel® 82599ES 10Gb Ethernet controller. Powered by a PCI Express 2.0 x8 physical interface, it supports up to 10 Gbps transfer rates per port (totaling 20 Gbps full-duplex) using Direct-Attached Copper (DAC) cables or SFP+ fiber optical transceivers. Ideal for virtualization and high VM environments, it includes support for VMDq and PCI-SIG SR-IOV. It also provides advanced TCP/IP, SCTP, and UDP checksum offloads, Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), iSCSI boot, PXE, and NC-SI remote management, making it an excellent cost-effective upgrade for rackmount servers.
